You met me in my mess that I had made and had made up my mind that I wanted to stay.
You reached through my brokenness that I had buried so deep that I could hardly feel anything.
You softened my hard heart for your love to break through when that was the last thing that I wanted for you to do.
You saved me from the disaster that I would’ve been, you helped me to throw all of the temptation away into oblivion.
I wouldn’t have recovered and I would be submersed in sin but God you saved me from the mess that I made and almost chose to stay in.
God in the mess I made, you rescued me from the catastrophe that could’ve been.
