Redemption, Resurrection, Remedy

Redemption.

(the action of regaining or gaining possession of something in exchange for payment, or clearing a debt.)

God when I didn’t see, you were working behind the scenes redeeming me. You were washing me and making me clean. Maybe I couldn’t always feel it instantly but you never hesitated from redeeming me.

Resurrection.

(the action or fact of resurrecting or being resurrected.)

God you resurrected what was dead inside of me, my joy, my hope and my peace. You delivered me and it was as obvious as could be. You restored so much unto me, you resurrected me.

Remedy.

(something that corrects an evil, rights a wrong, or makes up for a loss)

God when I didn’t always want to come to you, you were always the remedy. Everything I needed I found in you. You were the remedy to my chaos, to my hope that was lost. You were the mediator between me and sin at such great a cost.

Only you can do such a thing, and only you did. God only you can satisfy my soul and I give you all of it.
