The Ghost of Failed Times Before
What? How did I end up back at your door? I thought I had taken a different turn than I took before. I thought we agreed to not see each other anymore.
Every time I try to go right, I veer off the road and for some reason your house always ends up being the closest door, but you’re not a very good host so I think I need to go down the street some more.
Every time I’m here you tell me about all the times I was here before and about every failed attempt I’ve ever had that has led me here, crying in the floor.
You always make me think that the right road is an unobtainable goal that no one has ever achieved before. But what do I even know anymore? I’m going to try the house next door.
The Glory of a Forgiving Lord
Oh, hello. I’ve never seen you before. But now come to think of it, I think heard some people talking about how they came to your door and you welcomed them in like a friend even though they had never met you before.
The next door down has never been very welcoming. They just always get me down.
Could you tell me about the right road? The next door said that no one would ever reach the end.
Wait, I think I recognize you now. Hi my Lord.
I think I'm ready to lay it all down. Can you help me now?
